New York City, NY (PRWEB) J- In a recent review, .il stated that the extensive word database Ultimate Vocabulary™ is equipped with is one of its great assets as it provides a comprehensive range of details on a vast number of words. But either way, it’s a great app.the developers at eReflect clarified that it's not just the number of words available to users, but the range of information about those words that's important. Not a huge deal, but it makes me wonder what other words on the app are a little off. Circuitous can include a roundabout in certain contexts, but it is used mostly as an adjective, and more specifically it means “having a circular or winding course.” Put into a sentence, you could use it as “we took a circuitous route to grandma’s house.” It can also mean “not being forthright or direct in language or action.” Then there are some definitions that seem to be a little off.įor example, in the app the word “circuitous” is a noun, and defined simply as “roundabout,” meaning literally a roundabout that you’d drive through. I get it that they’re trying to keep the definitions to a minimal amount of words to help with memory, but many of the definitions seem to be just too short and vague. Problem is, some of the definitions that you’ll learn aren’t necessarily what you’ll find in a Webster’s Dictionary, which is kind of bizarre. The app is great the algorithm put in place to repeat words until you get a grasp of them is brilliant.
